Parity Awarded £15m Systems Integration Contract by Northern Ireland Electricity
Parity Group PLC, the UK IT services group, has been awarded a £15m deal to implement new systems and processes deal with Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE).
(PRWEB) December 22, 2006 -- Parity Group PLC, the UK IT services group, has been awarded a £15m partnership deal with Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE) to implement new systems and processes in relation to the developing competitive electricity markets across the island of Ireland.
Parity (http://www.parity.net/ ) will primarily provide Programme Management (http://www.parity.net/businesssolutions/progandprojmanagement/ ) and System Integration (http://www.parity.net/businesssolutions/systemsdevelopmentandintegration/
- based upon its ability to design, build, test and support changes to NIE's existing system.
Northern Ireland Electricity, part of Viridian Group, provides electricity services to around 760,000 customers in the domestic and small business markets in Northern Ireland. The requirement is complex and also involves the management of multiple sub-contractors. Parity bid for this contract within a consortium comprising Engage Consulting and St Clements Services.
