Web2Corp's JobMatchPro.com to Launch on January 19

New video job searching service uses Web 2.0 features to make hiring, searching easier and faster

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 24, 2006 -- Web2Corps' newest internet service, JobMatchPro.com(http://www.JobMatchPro.com), is going to launch on January 19, 2007. JobMatchPro.com uses the latest in web 2.0 technology and internet video capabilities to bring the power of social media to job searching and interviewing. Social media is Time Magazines "Person of the Year"; it is powerful, responsive, and its use is limited to the imaginations of its users. By bringing this element to job searching and online interviews, JobMatchPro.com will make it easier to match the right job up with the right employee.

"Social media has been recognized [by Time Magazine's Person of the Year award as a tool that is profoundly changing how we interact online," William Mobley, CEO of Web2Corp says. "Web 2.0 has changed what we expect from the internet. Web2Corp has always been about making applications with Web 2.0 functionality from the ground up, so we thought that it was time to bring the power of social media and internet video to job searching. We thought it was time to change what users expect from job searching. You take something similar to Monster.com and add video and web 2.0 functionality to it, do you think that it's different, that it's better?

"I do. I think that we're allowing employers and job seekers to establish a real dialogue, take the first step of interviewing online, and save everyone time and effort. That's why we're launching JobMatchPro.com. That's why you want your video resume online, because wouldn't be great if you only had to do one interview?"

JobMatchPro.com will allow users to upload up to 10 different video resumes. When applying for an opening, job seekers will be able to send individual employers specific video resumes to better target their video resumes and keep personal information under control. Employers will also be able to post video showing job conditions, company info, or specific interview questions that they want job applicants to answer in their video resume. JobMatchPro.com will also roll out a number of resources for those who are looking for help creating their video resumes some time shortly after launch.
