Answering Service Professor Bowlers Win Co-Ed Title

(PRWEB) July 1, 2006 -- Todd Cardin of the Answering Service Professor bowling team capped off the Montgomery Co-Ed Bowling League by bowling a perfect game. Cardin who has flirted with a perfect score on a number of occasions finally was able to reach the three hundred mark. Answering Service Professor narrowly beat the three time defending champion Rib It Bullfrogs. The championship was held at the Facenda Whitaker Lanes in Norristown Pennsylvania.

The Answering Service Professor bowlers include Todd Cardin, Emily Cardin, Nicolas D'Alleva and Melissa Touchton. This is the first year that they have competed in a bowling league and suprised the favored Bullfrogs who were led by ace bowler Alex Drumheller.

Bowling is a game in which players attempt to score points by rolling a ball along a flat surface to knock down objects called pins. There are many forms of bowling, with the earliest dating back to ancient Egypt. The best known form of bowling is probably the American game of Ten-pin bowling. This form, in both amateur and professional versions, is played around the world, making it one of the largest participation sports worldwide

Montgomery County Bowling League of Norristown is one of the oldest running bowling leagues in the area. Since 1938, the league has brought much enjoyment to players who have come and gone. While the league has a competitive edge, family ties and rivalries keep it anything but ordinary. Todd Cardin stated that the league is a lot of fun because almost everyone brings their kids to add to the atmosphere.
