Sellers Offer Creative New Incentive to Prospective Homebuyers; the Opportunity to Reward a Favorite Charity
Tampa, Florida homeowners have launched an exceptional new marketing tool to entice buyers while increasing awareness of deserving local and national charitable organizations.
Tampa, Florida (PRWEB) July 16, 2006 -- Cynthia & Daniel Lobb, Tampa, FL homeowners for more than six years announced today a new marketing tool for the sale of their Westchase home. Over the coming weeks Cynthia & Daniel will be researching dozens of local and national charitable organizations and compiling a list.
At closing, the Lobbs plan to ask the buyers of their home to select one charity from the list to which the Lobbs will donate 1% of their gross appreciation. Visitors of their new website, http://www.buyhousehelpcharity.com, not only learn about the home for sale, but have the opportunity to learn more about the Lobbs, their neighborhood, and most importantly, each of the many charities that will ultimately be eligible to receive the donation.
When asked why they were launching their website, Daniel Lobb replied “This is a buyers market and that is stressful for all of the sellers trying to market their home. We saw our family being affected by the stress and we wanted to do something to make the process of selling our home more enjoyable. This was the perfect fit. We feel great about the concept and we hope other sellers contact us to get involved.”
There is a trend in the local real estate market to turn to untraditional and dramatic marketing tools, but the Lobbs feel their tool is unique because it benefits more than just the buyer and seller involved in the individual transaction. Both parties have the opportunity to enjoy the rewards of giving back to the greater community.
The Lobbs are looking to family, friends, and the general public for suggestions about which charities should be on their list. For each charity they investigate, their website will grow as the Lobbs feature the charity on their blog located at http://blog.buyhousehelpcharity.com. The Lobbs hope to see hits from readers that may not be looking to purchase a home, but are looking for ways to be more involved in their community. Though only one charity will be selected to receive the donation, the Lobbs hope that all of the charities featured on the blog receive additional money, volunteers, and resources through the exposure.
When asked what the best possible outcome could be, Cynthia Lobb replied “Other sellers see what we are doing and make the same commitment. What could be better than infusing additional money into worthy charities with every real estate transaction?”
