David A. McInnis, Founder of PRWeb®
David McInnis is the original innovator of direct to consumer news release distribution and developer of PRWeb’s Online Visibility Engine. A graduate of Texas State University with a B.A. in International Business, he worked for many years as a marketing and database consultant for the telecommunication and direct marketing industries. He served as the IT Manager for Americall Corporation and CTO for several start-ups throughout the 1990's. Mr. McInnis developed the PRWeb® platform in 1997 and watched it mature into one of the largest press release newswires on the net. While PRWeb® offers services common in major newswires, PRWeb® is the first and only newswire service focusing on direct to consumer distribution.
He remains committed to assisting business owners, authors, marketers and others publicize and promote their news to high-value online properties and major search engines through his innovative use of technology.
In 2005, Mr. McInnis joined the efforts of Unitus, a micro finance accelerator. He believes that microfinance is one of the few programs that provides sustainable solution to the world's poverty woes and is fully committed to helping the microfinance industry help provide a way out of poverty through microfinance.
