New iMovie Plug-ins Offer Jazzy Transitions BKMS announces the expansion of its iMovie plug-in line with four new plug-ins, ranging from tastefully elegant to seriously pixilated. Help yourself to our free samples, or download demo versions of all our plug-ins for free. The new plug-ins, as well as the existing line, all work with iMovie 2.1.1 though 4.0. (PRWEB) January 22 2004--The plug-ins are available individually for $8, or you can buy sets of three for $20. Our new plug-ins include:
- Fancy Wipes: two fades and a transition inspired by silent movies. Includes Circle Fade Targetable, in which a soft-edged black circle moves in from the edge of the screen to whatever point youve selected, holds briefly at about ten percent of the screen width, and then blinks out. If youve ever watched a silent movie or seen Looney Toons cartoons, you know what we mean.
- Melt In: the incoming scene dreamily melts in from either black or white, with either the light or dark areas melting first. Because the effect varies with each clip, every use of Melt In is unique.
- Pixel Fade: the image is broken into jazzy random blocks of pixels. For the Fade In transitions, ever more pixel blocks change from black to showing the incoming image. For Fade Out transitions, ever more blocks show black until the outgoing image is gone. The blocks can be 2, 4, 8, or 16 pixels square.
- Pixel Wash: just like Pixel Fade above, except washing in and out from and to white, rather than fading in and out from and to black.
These new plug-ins join our existing line of plug-ins, which includes Melt Through, Melt Away, Pixelate, and Soft Wipes.
Singly or as a group, these plug-ins let you produce movies with a professional look and stylistic flair. They can be purchased directly from our online store.
Availability To purchase, to download free samples or a free demonstration version of the plug-ins, or to see sample movie shorts featuring our plug-ins, go to http://www.bkms.com/plugins.html.
