SportsPilot licenses its first sports system franchise. Frisco based, 120,000 sq.ft. multi-sport indoor complex to deliver a professional quality experience using the latest Internet, wireless and HDTV display technology.

(PRWEB) January 29 2004--SportsPilot, Inc., a Frisco based information services company specializing in amateur sports, announced today that it has reached agreement with BWC Properties to license and deploy its leading-edge SportsTech sports information system and brand-name in a new, Frisco-based indoor sports facility scheduled to break ground in June of 2004. The 120,000 sq. ft. SportsTech facility will host soccer, basketball, volleyball, lacrosse, football and futsol and will incorporate the latest in architectural design and high-technology, creating a professional sports atmosphere for Frisco youth and parents.

SportsTech will create a unique experience for local sports enthusiasts through a combination of architectural design and high-technology. The 120,000 sq. ft. facility has a centralized design, with 2 full sized soccer arenas and 10 full sized basketball/volleyball courts. Court seating areas are all less than a half court away from the franchised concessions, SportsTech store, observation area, dining area, restrooms, underground locker rooms, showers, offices, and meeting rooms. Access to all courts is provided via an elevated causeway, making movement between courts quick while also greatly reducing cross-court noise.

SportsTech will not only automate the paper intensive registration and court rentals process; it will also provide a patent-pending information system allowing teams and players to capture stats and performance information. All teams that register with SportsTechs system will receive a SportsTech integrated team web site which is designed to facilitate the team management process. Team sites can be used to register the team, reserve court time, display photos, view live game stats and schedule team practices. Each SportsTech court will have a large, dedicated HDTV-based display system which will show game box scores, real-time stats, shot charts, player pictures and game video. SportsTechs information capture system also has the amazing ability to produce professionally written game articles immediately after each game.

Finally, SportsTech will incorporate a large Internet workstation area and have full wireless capabilities. After practices, kids can log on, do their homework, instant-message their friends or play online games.
