Firepad Releases Handheld Video Baby Monitor Software

Firepad has released FireProducer Desktop Edition, an inexpensive home version of its webcam-to-Palm video server software. Now consumers can monitor their home or child from anywhere in the world on a Palm handheld organizer. Priced at $49.95, the application allows users to send live video from any 16-bit USB webcam to any wireless Palm-compatible handheld.

The software sends live video from any 16-bit USB PC webcam to any wireless Palm-compatible handheld. Video is received on the PDA by Firepad's popular Picture Viewer software.
