OneFarStar Chooses Kav-Or to Benefit from Recent Art Release

OneFarStar, an artwork distribution company, has chosen the Jerusalem-based Kav-Or Foundation as the designated charity for two of its latest open series poster prints, Bar Mitzvah" and Bat Mitzvah", which benefit young victims of terrorism and violence in Israel.

(PRWEB) January 30 2004--OneFarStar, an artwork distribution company, has chosen the Jerusalem-based Kav-Or Foundation as the designated charity for two of its latest open series poster prints, Bar Mitzvah" and Bat Mitzvah", which benefit young victims of terrorism and violence in Israel.

Kav-Or has been a great help in aiding children who may be suffering", says LLance Kezner, Director of OneFarStar. We think the work they have done and continue to do is really needed in these difficult times.

OneFarStar produces original artwork and open-series poster prints that directly benefit non-profit organizations. When a poster is created a non-profit organization is chosen to receive a permanent donation of 40% each time a print of the artwork is sold. Non-Profits are chosen based on the following criteria:

1) What does the group promote

2) How established is the organization in the community

3) Who are the members that benefit

In addition to a donation, Kav-Or and OneFarStar have arranged a special online collaboration so that recipients of the posters can send notes of encouragement directly to the children or participate in live online art sessions that are held 2 times a week.

Kav-Or is a voluntary organization that is part of the The David Yellin College of Education In Jerusalem, Israel and provides children in hospitals with computers through which distance-learning services, virtual playgrounds, and encounters in virtual environments are offered to help reduce the stress and anxiety often associated with hospitalization for children. Since 1993 the Kav-Or distance-learning program for hospitalized children has been providing services for over 100,000 children in hospital wards nationwide in Israel.
