New Survey Results Show Nearly Twice As Many People More Worried About Mind Diseases Than Cancer, Heart Disease --New Online Mind Fitness" System Launched to Improve Memory -- More Americans today are worried about diseases that could affect their mental functioning than they are about diseases that affects their body, including cancer and heart disease, according to a survey released today by MemoryConcepts. Sixty-four percent of those surveyed said they were more worried about being diagnosed with cognitive impairments (such as Alzheimers disease) than with other physical diseases -- supporting the recent trend that as Americans age there is increasing concern about their mental well being.
