Samson Carts' award comes after an eight-month study of its sustainable design for the environment. MBDC (http://www.mbdc.com) awards Cradle to Cradle Certification only after a rigorous evaluation process that considers material safety and reusability, water and energy consumption, pollution and social equity.

David L. King, AIA, CFM designed Samson Carts as an environmentally superior product to replace the plywood library and building storage carts used in the material handling industry. The annually renewable certification lasts from June 13, 2008 to June 12, 2009.
