International Thermal Systems has been awarded a contract by the Department of the Army to supply Munitions Leak Test ovens for the munitions facility at Pine Bluff Arsenal in Pine Bluff Arkansas. The ovens are being supplied as part of a modernization program.

The ovens will test the integrity of munitions by cycling the munitions through a battery of temperatures. The ovens will detect any munitions that leak during the test. The batch ovens will feature 316L stainless steel construction for all interior surfaces, vertical lift doors, indirect gas heating, fire deluge and suppression systems and LFL monitoring.
