Innovation Solutions releases SAP Business One Edition of HighJump WMS

Innovation Solutions has integrated Highjump WMS software to SAP's Business One system for small to midsized (SME) wholesale distributors. This is the first proven Tier one WMS that has been made available to the SAP Business One market at an SME budget. Future customers will benefit from the world class support of both Highjump Software and SAP.

HighJump WMS software, a leader in the Tier One warehouse automation market, has been fully integrated into SAP Business One, SAP's business software for the small and mid-sized enterprise, by Innovation Solutions, Inc. The SAP Business One Edition of High Jump WMS is priced to be very competitive to the WMS' in the Small to Mid-sized market (SME). The system comes with a set of base line functionalities to meet the needs of the SME wholes sale distributor, but can be configured for more complex processes.

Innovation Solutions, Inc. saw the integration of the two applications as a natural fit. They have been a long time strategic partner for High Jump Software. They also have an SAP Business One practice, focused on selling and implementing solutions to the SME market. Recognizing the fact that there was not a strong WMS for SAP Business One, they set out to integrate the two products, which they have extensive knowledge of. SME Wholesale Distributors now have a solution from World Class Industry Leaders in HighJump Software and SAP.

Innovation Solutions is looking to use the two applications as a foundation to create a fully integrated Supply Chain Management (SCM) system for the SME. The Management Team at Innovation Solutions feels that the SME space has been under-served when it comes to SCM solutions. The requirements of SME Wholesale Distributors are not much different compared to the larger enterprises.

The integration of the two applications were done, using SAP Business One's software development kit (SDK) and adhering to the XML architectural guidelines set forth by both HighJump and SAP. Future upgrades will not affect the integration unless there is substantial change in the architecture of the applications.
