Wildcard Wow with Woodland Wonderland at the Exhibiting Show

Exhibition designers Wildcard Creative have once again surpassed expectations by creating another uniquely distinctive yet sustainable stand design, underlining their ethos "sustain, not mundane."

London, UK (PRWEB) July 5, 2008 -- Exhibiting in the newly created Green Zone, Wildcard transformed their space into a playful woodland clearing to demonstrate their sustainable display products. Explaining the thinking behind the theme, director Jamie Douglas says, "We had such an amazing response from the last 2 years, so we took the elements that worked best from both shows and expanded on them, creating a fun, creative and unusual environment. This was the best show we've had so far in terms of leads and fun on the stand."

Together with their modular display system, Wildcard showcased their extended family of products -- desks, literature holders and freestanding columns. This year Wildcard collaborated with the show organisers, Exposurecom and provided further show collateral beyond their stand, including the information points and all the recycling stations for the show.

Wildcard print artwork directly to the re-useable cardboard structure, which bypasses the need for shell scheme. Being modular the system can be reconfigured to suit various sizes and layouts of space. The cardboard used is inherently fire retardant, making it compliant with venue safety regulations. Since launching, the team have refined the system according to customer feedback, which further underlines their commitment to providing a viable alternative for those who wish to approach their live events in a sustainable way. The panels can now be printed on both sides, which means customers can have different messages or illustrate different products from one show to the next.

After seeing the amount of waste generated by the exhibition industry, Wildcard developed their modular display system, produced from recycled card, as an environmentally responsible alternative. The company changed its name to Wildcard Creative to reflect their new product on its launch in 2006. The system was a finalist for the Green award at the Exhibition News Awards In 2007 and won "most Innovative Product for Industry" at the same ceremony.

Wildcard have just completed an exciting collaborative project with Hemingway Design at the Danish Embassy, Sloane Street, London SW1X.

The project is part of London Festival of Architecture and showcases some of the most exciting talent and sustainable projects from the Danish Architectural community.

Wildcard consider every aspect of their projects with a view to sustainability, and were the first exhibition contractor to be audited and achieve Low Carbon Product and Low Carbon Supplier status through Put Something Back, part of the Carbon Clear initiative.

Wildcard believe that a sustainable approach to design shouldn't come at a premium or with any compromise on creativity.
