Google Is Not Best!

Google is not alone at the top. AlltheWeb searches more pages for a significant number of keywords.

Berkeley, CA (PRWEB) March 1, 2004 -- Google, the popular search engine, is not alone at the top. In fact, AlltheWeb searches more pages for a significant number of keywords, according to a recent study by DomainMart.

This finding is in contrast to popular belief. It suggests that you might be better off using AlltheWeb for certain classes of keywords, or at least using both search engines to improve the quality of your searches," notes Alex Tajirian, President and CEO of DomainMart.

The study looked at the number of pages searched by AlltheWeb vs. Google for a significant number of keywords. The result was that 42% of keywords triggered a higher number of pages using AlltheWeb than using Google. Hence, the study indicates that a significant number of pages are indexed by AlltheWeb that are not indexed by Google.

DomainMart is a leader in providing domain-name secondary-market services, including appraisal/valuation, escrow, leasing, parking, and protection since 1996.
