Zakk Wylde & Black Label Society Hits The Mainstage On OZZfest 2004 Zakk Wylde and Black Label Society hits the mainstage full guns blazing, just to come back and join Ozzy to close the show~ HOLLYWOOD (PRWEB) March 4, 2004 --- The OZZfest 2004 cometh! Zakk Wyldes Black Label Society will once again unleash their brand of brutal fury to the masses on the OZZfest main stage.
Defining the summer for many metal-heads, OZZfest is returning for an incredible ninth consecutive year. The earsplitting extravaganza has earned a hallowed position, in the busiest tour season, with a relentless commitment to its core fans and the consistency of quality they demand as their birthright.
Zakk Wylde has played a significant role as one of Ozzy Osbournes legendary lead guitarists. Now Zakk has come into his own" with BLS, earning him accolades as a Master front-man, as well as guitar virtuoso, in the press and on radio. Black Label Society broke nationally at #50 on Billboards prestigious Top 200 charts with their latest album The Blessed Hellride" on Spitfire Records, while the DVD -- Boozed, Broozed and Broken Boned entered Billboards Top Music Video charts at # 3. The first single Stillborn" was named "One of The Top 10 Tracks of 2003 at Rock radio".
BLS will hit the main-stage, full guns blazing, starting July 10th in Hartford, Connecticut and will continue for 26 shows. Joining BLS is the much-anticipated Judas Priest reunion, featuring Rob Halford; metal titans Slayer; Norwegian black-metal maniacs Dimmu Borgir; and Superjoint Ritual (featuring Phil Anselmo of Pantera). Zakk will do a repeat performance when he joins OZZY for the closing of the show.
At this OZZfest, BLS will have their new release available Hangover Music, Vol. VI" on Spitfire Records, due out in April 2004. Hangover Music, Vol. VI is an emotionally fueled work of genius, mixed with brilliant piano concertos and guitar solo mastery that has become Zakk Wyldes signature.
