Artists Sought for the Greater Hickory Smoke/Kansas City Sanctioned BBQ Festivals Artist Exhibition 2005

The Southwest Business Association of Hickory is looking for artists interested in showing at The Inaugural Greater Hickory Smoke/Kansas City Sanctioned BBQ Festivals Artist Exhibition. The festival will be held May 27 and 28, 2005 at the LP Frans Stadium (Crawdads Stadium)in Hickory NC.

October 27,2004--The Southwest Business Association of Hickory is looking for artists interested in showing at The Greater Hickory Smoke/Kansas City Sanctioned BBQ Festivals Artist Exhibition. The festival will be held May 27 and 28, 2005 at the LP Frans Stadium in Hickory NC. Artists will be provided with a 10 x 10 outdoor booth space. Space is limited to 35 artists. In addition to the BBQ cook off and the art show there will be live music. There are also plans for a poker run, a kiddies section and much more.

Sponsored by Galaxy Food Centers "Butchers Best Meat", The Kansas City Barbeque Society is the largest International organization of barbecue enthusiasts. The society sanctions contests and supervises the judging process at contests all over North America. Part of the proceeds from this event will go to local charities.

LP Frans Stadium is located at 2500 Clement Blvd. NW, off Highway 321 in Hickory.
