Pikes Peak Prestidigitators Board Appoints A New President Mark Weidhaas succeeds Clarence D. Bowersox aka BUDDA, who had served as President from 2003 until his sudden death on January 11, 2004. COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (PRWEB) March 12, 2004--The Pikes Peak Prestidigitators announced today, that Mark Weidhaas has been appointed President by the PPP's Board of Directors. Mark Weidhaas , who performs as "Inspector Magic" for the past 15 years, was a President of the PPP from 1998 to 2001 and is the current S.A.M. Regional Deputy for Colorado.
Vice President Bruce Black stated, "Our Board is very pleased and excited about Mark assuming the role of President. Mark has provided the Pikes Peak Prestidigitators with tremendous leadership during his tenure as President in the past, and the Board is very confident in him assuming this role again."
The Pikes Peak Prestidigitators has been serving Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region since they became a Chartered Assembly No. 170 of the Society of American Magicians (S.A.M.) on March 10, 1979. The Society of American Magicians is the oldest and most prestigious magical society in the world.
On March 23rd, the Pikes Peak Prestidigitators will be hosting the Annual PPP Flea Market at the Sand Creek Police Station, 4125 Center Park Drive (just east and south of the Academy/Fountain Blvd. Intersection), Colorado Springs.
This once-a-year, one-of-a-kind event, designed especially for those who have an interest in magic and illusions, will take place from 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. Colorado amateur and professional magicians will sell their used magic tricks, books, and illusions. Visitors are encouraged to come early before all the great deals disappear. Poof!

The Pikes Peak Prestidigitators has been serving Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region since they became a Chartered Assembly No. 170 of the Society of American Magicians on March 10, 1979. The Society of Young Magicians, for those under 16 years old, meets the same night and place at 6:00 pm.
