The 2004 Award for "African American Business" is a prestigious award given by GLAAACC yearly to a company that has contributed to the economic growth and development of African American Businesses. Turning Point Communications won over a vast field of business nominees to gain the honor.

Turning Point Magazine has grown steadily, and now is distributed to over 30 Top African American Major Markets!

In addition, Pat Means and Turning Point Communications joined with the Turning Point Foundation to form the annual African American Business Summit, which assists African American entrepreneurs in business solutions, growth, and networking.
