EO13327 calls for the heads of all executive branch departments and agencies to designate Senior Real Property Officers and creates a new Federal Real Property Council. The order is a tangible example of the continuing efforts to transform the federal government. BRAC is another example of such efforts, as part of the Defense Transformation initiative established by the Office of the Secretary of Defense.

Ms. Shields has been hired to manage the flow of VISTAs business related to these initiatives, to develop partnerships and teaming alliances, and to identify new opportunities for VISTAs expertise in facilities infrastructure analysis, IT and management consulting.

Ms. Shields has over 18 years of experience successfully selling to virtually all agencies in the Federal government. Before coming to VISTA, she was the Sales Director for the Government Channel of MCI, recognized as a top selling manager for eight consecutive years. She nearly doubled revenues on an annual basis and won several of the largest Government wireless contracts for MCI to date, accumulating numerous awards for excellence in the process. Ms. Shields is a graduate of Webster University in St. Louis, MO, where she earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business and Management.
