Political Consulting Firm Offers Tips For Activists And Candidates Republican political consulting firm offers monthly campaign tips. Runnemede, NJ (PRWEB) April 8, 2004 -- The Republican political consulting firm of Kush and Associates, noted for its bold and boisterous campaign style" by Troy Graham of the Philadelphia Inquirer has recently added a Tip of the Month section to the company website.
This months tip, Door-to-door campaigning, the art of door knocking, is designed to show Republican activists and candidates the lost art of door knocking.
Kush and Associates founder, Steve Kush, knows something about door knocking. In the summer of 2002, Steve Kush was responsible for gaining 1200 new Republican voter registrations in a legislative district with an 80% Latino population in North Philadelphia.
Door knocking is a lost art," Kush said. Many of the so-called experts say its a waste of time. Frankly, door knocking, if done properly, can be the great equalizer for a candidate with little money."
The door knocking theory was proven in the race for three Camden County, NJ Freeholder seats in the last election. Despite a three to one registration disadvantage and even more dramatic financial disparity, compounded by a celebrity opponent, the Republican candidates were able to make the strongest showing their party has seen in over a decade because the candidates met the voters. Kush said, True the campaign was ultimately unsuccessful but, without meeting the voters our candidates never would have made such a strong showing."
Kush and Associates expects to have their second office fully operational by April 15, 2004. That office will be located near Shinnston, WV. Kush decided the firm needed a rural office to compliment its thorough understanding of urban and suburban politics with rural politics. Kush said, The addition of our second location will make us the only consulting firm with a true understanding of urban, suburban, and rural politics." ###
