Wayne Mackert, Managing Director of iTech Management, LLC of Bellevue has assumed the Interim CIO role with Pacific Medical Centers for approximately 90 days. Pacific Medical Centers has identified a permanent CIO who will be relocating to Seattle in the next few months, and in the meantime Mr. Mackert will be assisting by assuming day-to-day direction of the Information Technology department providing support to the six clinics throughout the Puget Sound.

Wayne is a former vice president of research and development of IDX Systems, one of the top four healthcare software solution vendors in the world. He was also a Practice Director, IT Management with First Consulting Group (FCG) where he performed IT/Internet Stragegy and Interim CIO engagements.

He has more than 35 years overall experience in information technology, 16 years of which have been in healthcare IT Director, VP, CIO, and CTO roles. Mr. Mackert also spent almost 17 years with Unisys Corporation where he was a Consulting Practice Director with responsibility for Healthcare and Welfare sectors.
