Free Gardening Classes Come to The 17th Street Farmers Market

GardeningGirl.com offers free gardening classes in downtown Richmond, Virginia. Topics will include container gardening, attracting birds and butterflies, and herb gardening. Class handouts will also be available at www.GardeningGirl.com.

Richmond, VA (PRWEB) April 15, 2004 -- GardeningGirl.com announced today that they will begin offering free gardening classes in May 2004. The classes will be held at The 17th Street Farmers Market in downtown Richmond, Virginia during the Saturday Market. There will be two sessions for each class at 11 am and 1 pm.

Topics will include container gardening, attracting birds and butterflies, and herb gardening. Registration is free and may be accomplished by visiting the Gardening Girl website at http://www.GardeningGirl.com.

Class handouts will also be available for download on GardeningGirl.com.

GardeningGirl.com hopes to use these classes to promote organic gardening and healthy living. We will providing attendees with information on the health aspects of gardening as well as teaching techniques.
