The Million Mile Challenge is Striking Up a Challenge Between Minneapolis & St Paul

The Million Mile Challenge is run through the web site www.fitnessrace.com. It allows you to track your walking, running and biking distance and get into a little friendly competition. I'm striking up a challenge between Minneapolis & St Paul this May, 2004. Who can log more miles?

Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) April 15, 2004 -- The "Million Mile Challenge" is coming to the Mall of America in Minnesota during May - 2004, designed to encourage everyday people to get active. During the month of May the presidential "National Physical Fitness and Sports Month" encourages people to get active for healthier, happier lifestyles. The free to use www.fitnessrace.com web site will further encourage folks by tracking their walking, running or biking distances and creating "races" by city, state and even across the country. You can set up challenges within your company, school or religious organization. Have your organization strike up a challenge with another organization. Join a "Virtual Team" and have your distance count amongst a team of up to 20 members. All you need to create this exciting challenge is right at www.fitnessrace.com!

I'm also challenging the cities of Minneapolis & St Paul, Minnesota to a challenge of who can log more miles. I'll be at the Mall of America in Bloomington the entire month to help people get signed up to use the free site and join this challenge. We'll make it fair by matching the same number of players by using whoever joins first, or finds a "challenge buddy".

I'm also challenging the nation to log one million miles at the site during May and see how a little friendly competition can strike up healthier, happier living.
