Hamilton Square, NJ (PRWEB) April 16, 2004 --- Distinctive Systems Ltd (DSL), a leading supplier of software to the motor coach industry, has just released a new Community Transport Industry subsystem to augment their already established charter and contract booking system, Coach Manager CBS, making it an even more powerful solution for the transportation industry.

CBS is designed to handle any journey that repeats on either a regular or irregular basis. This functionality has now been enhanced to allow a list of passengers to be associated with each individual journey. The system stores comprehensive details about each passenger so special needs are easily recorded for each individual and can highlight the need for a fixed wheelchair position, personal attendant or other accommodation.

As throughoutwith every part of CBS, the standard data fields for each passenger can be extended by the user to accommodate an unlimited number of additional fields, each with its own user defined title and data type. Unlimited information can be stored against each passenger - all of which can be accessed by the systems built-in user definable reporting system.

CBS has been further enhanced with a new diary for community transport journeys. A data grid lists all the journeys for a selected day and as each journey is selected a separate grid lists all the passengers traveling on it. The grid can be used for quickly adding or removing passengers and for editing the order or time of pick-ups and set-downs.
