Lifeline Program Announces Record Life Settlement Sales Gains

The Lifeline Program® today announced that as of July 31, the life insurance settlement company has already outperformed last year’s record sales numbers. Riding a wave of factors including a thirst for settlements as an investment from financial institutions, an influx of converted term policies and an increase in policies from seniors feeling the pinch of the economic slowdown, overall policy volume has seen a dramatic spike.

ATLANTA (Business Wire EON) August 11, 2008 -- "After completing an outstanding year in 2007 we were optimistic, but this year has greatly exceeded even those expectations," said Wm. Scott Page, president and CEO. "We have seen gain after gain."

Though exact figures were not released, Page said that the company has managed more than half a billion dollars in face amount of policies in the past year with the company's current financial partners.

Page attributes much of the success to the company's processes for evaluating policies and a new program that trains agent groups on the finer points of building a life settlement business.

The proprietary policy evaluation system quickly identifies ideal settlement opportunities while singling out and removing Stranger Owned Life Insurance (STOLI) policies from settlement consideration.

The marketing and sales program is designed for organizations seeking additional products, services and expertise to improve and sustain performance in the increasingly competitive financial services marketplace. The P3 Program (Production – Performance – Profit) enables agencies and agents to build a new market with life settlements, broaden revenue, increase commissions and further penetrate existing clientele. The Lifeline Program is currently accepting letters of intent from qualified agencies.

"For 19 years, we have been developing business processes that streamline life settlement transactions," said Page. "We have a production system that can be scaled to any size operation and the back-office ability to seamlessly evaluate policies to maximize profitability and minimize risk."

The Lifeline Program, based in Atlanta, Ga., is a division of Wm. Page & Associates, Inc. Founded in 1989, the company actively partners with insurance agencies and broker dealers to establish profitable and ongoing life settlement business lines.
