Small biotech company + simple molecules = High Profits! Two products are ready for Herpes market, HERPEX-C and HERPEX-O, which are projected to generate $11 million in net profits for the first year of sales and a novel new gp41 inhibitor which could compete with a new anti-HIV/AIDS drug which according to experts should generate $400M-$800M in first year sales! Tucson, AZ (PRWEB) April 21, 2004 -- Mal-4 Research Institute, Richard Gil, president of Mal-4 Research Institute along with his partner, Dr. John Gnabre, CEO and director of Research and Development have recently announced that they have launched two novel research projects in the fight against Herpes worldwide and HIV/AIDS in Africa. These novel approaches are compiled in a project outlined by Malachi-4 Research Institute (Mal-4 R.I.), a small biotech company to be permanently located in Baltimore, Maryland. Two products are ready for market, HERPEX-C and HERPEX-O, which are projected to generate $11 million in net profits in the first year of sales, In addition to this, scientists at Mal-4 R.I., have screened over the past two years, hundreds of African medicinal herbs, and have identified four extracts containing powerful small inhibitor molecules targeted at HIV fusion protein gp41. These molecules are capable of thwarting off ALL strains of HIV circulating worldwide. These simple molecules can be put in pill form and should be much cheaper to manufacture. This is a huge advantage over the newly released and injectable AIDS drug made by Trimeris/Hoffman LaRoche (the expected $1 billion revenue-making Fuzeon). The amount needed for funding is between $2M-$7M. Funding by private investors for drug development from the rich and exotic African plant lore is seen as the best way to help Africa cope with the AIDS crisis because a resulting drug should give a boost to the economy of the local populations, and at the same time, help millions of poor people, especially the children left orphaned by the AIDS pandemic. Perhaps this novel approach in helping Africa will be any investors greatest contribution to mankind", said Richard Gil, President of Malachi-4 Research Institute.
Africa, where I am originally from is profoundly rich in natural resources including exotic plant lore and virgin forests. One of the best ways to help Africa in the HIV/AIDS crisis is to identify and develop their local medicinal plants into powerful drugs. Our HIV/AIDS project is a God-inspired vision that does just that. Should anyone decide to help in this noble cause, I believe, it will be an improvement of their great image toward the entire African continent especially, among the millions of poor children whose well-being has always been one of my main concerns", said Dr. John Gnabre, Research Director of Malachi-4 Research Institute and former HIV/AIDS researcher at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD.
