(PRWEB) April 22, 2004 -- Autumn Rose Publishing LLC hits the presses again with another intriguing novel, Abductee, a story of a bizarre mission to change people. Once again sisters, Lorraine and Lynnita Mattock, join efforts to achieve their common goal: providing wholesome yet intriguing books for readers.

While perusing a menu outside a posh restaurant, author, Lynnita Mattock, and publisher, Lorraine Mattock, came face to face with snobbery in the form of a smartly dressed woman escorted by an equally well-dressed gentleman. Lorraine inadvertently stepped back and brushed up against the woman who gasped with obvious disdain. The gentleman grasped her elbow and steered her away from the offending sisters.

The experience was an eye-opener and really embarrassed Lorraine -- not so much bumping into her, but the ladys recoiling reaction. It was as though she had touched vermin." Lynnita laughs as she remembers the encounter. I began asking myself how difficult would it be to change someone like that. Change her into a person who would react with graciousness rather than disgust."

With those thoughts racing around in her mind, Lynnita began conjuring up a novel which soon grew into Abductee, a 232-page novel with a variety of settings including the mountains of Colorado, Michigans lower peninsula, and the sultry Virgin Islands. A stealthy group of people whose mission is to transform the world one person at a time abduct individuals whom they feel need changing.

When they kidnap Mary Jo, they are faced with a woman who in no uncertain terms refuses to cooperate and, on top of that, has a behavioral disorder which they have absolutely no idea how to handle. The interactions between abductee and abductors become so tangled that the mission itself is threatened," Lynnita says.

Abductee is published by Lorraines company, Autumn Rose Publishing LLC. Established In 2003, Autumn Rose Publishing LLC is a result of the two sisters learning how to deal with each others quirky imaginations and different work styles to attain their goal of creating great books.
