What's That Buzz? Nakia Featured At Music Austin, Upcoming Interview, Show Dates.

Virginia DeBolt's Music Austin has listed Nakia in it's "encyclopedia of the Austin music scene" and the players that make it up. Virgina's website features regular reviews of Austin-based acts and their CDs. DeBolt's take on Nakia's music was favorable, noting Nakia's, "great pipes," while adding "The guy can sing!"

(PRWEB) April 23, 2004 -- This review comes amid a rise of press-related exposure for Nakia. Nakia recently appeared on Austin's channel 36, KXAN for a recent story about Austin musicians, and he will also be the featured artist in an upcoming issue of "Siren Song Magazine."

When asked how he feels about the sudden interest from the press, Nakia calmly replies, "it's good to see people catching on right now." and adds, "Beans and I have been working hard on getting the sound right...these people have ears.
