NEW YORK, NY (PRWEB) May 3, 2004

Like it or not, hip-hop is everywhere! Hip-Hop language is being used in conference rooms across corporate America. Beats and rhymes are often used in jingles for world recognized brands. Even “bling-bling” is an official word in the Webster’s dictionary!

“Back in the day, everybody pretty much had their own identity, originality and creativity. And now there’s a formula” - Missy Elliot, XXL Fall 2003

Although the notion that hip-hop is only a fad is long gone, the perception of hip-hop as violent and negative remains strong. After years of excessive self destruction and materialism being glamorized in rap songs, hip-hop is now, finally, in the midst of a pendulum shift back to a time when positivity and creativity were embraced and celebrated.

Ultimately, without the creativity, artistry and originality of early DJ’s, breakers, graffiti writers and MC’s we wouldn’t have the pop-culture phenomenon we have today. To that end, AfroAnime, LLC has launched a re-vamped version of their hip-hop inspired website http://www.bbuggz.com.

The site, which previously featured lead B-Buggz character B-Fly, has been expanded to introduce all six B-Buggz characters complete with their individual “bios”. Visitors can now find out what the B-Buggz crew is up to, get to know the characters better and brush up on some hip-hop history all at the same time! Old skool and new skool fans alike will be re-introduced to many of the early pioneers of hip-hop culture as they discover the favorite artists and role models of each of the B-Buggz characters.

In addition to the expanded website, AfroAnime has expanded its product line to include apparel, accessories and gifts featuring each of the B-Buggz characters and their "B-Buggz" comic strip.

So, turn up your speakers and join in a celebration of hip-hop culture! Visit http://www.bbuggz.com and help "Bring the Old Skool Into the New"!
