StollerUSA's PowerPlus™ Increases Soybean Yield by 71 bu/ac in University Tests

Texas A&M Research was performed on irrigated soybeans with a plant population density of 225,000 plants per acre in relatively dense beds 40" apart. The average yield of the control plants was 55 bushels per acre. StollerUSA's PowerPlus treated plants yielded 126.2 bushels per acre.

Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 25, 2008 -- Recent research at Texas A&M Weslaco concluded that StollerUSA's PowerPlus (http://www.stollerusa.com)™ product has a dramatic impact on densely planted soybean crops (http://www.stollerusa.com/powerplus_soybean_research.html). With a one-gallon-per-acre application of PowerPlus, the soybean yield increased (http://www.stollerusa.com/mediaCenter/08-18-08.html) 129.5% or 71.2 bushels per acre when compared to the control plants.

"PowerPlus is designed to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of nitrogen applications for soybeans and corn," states Dr. Albert Liptay, Director of Research & Development for StollerUSA. "It appears to increase the rate of incorporation of nitrogen into proteins and other molecules. It makes the plant run more efficiently."

"We've been seeing dramatic results over the last year in our own field trials," states Jerry Stoller, world renowned agronomist and president of StollerUSA. "Farmers can't seem to get enough of this product. Now, this university study validates what farmers are experiencing in the field." Some farmers have reported they may be able to reduce their fertilizer inputs as a result of PowerPlus' effectiveness and yield-enhancing abilities. For farmers looking to increase their yields StollerUSA products are an economical option.

"We're a different kind of company and our products focus on how to maximize the performance of plants to maximize profits for growers. This research confirms that our product development efforts are right on target," explains Stoller.
