BNSF Logistics Makes Strategic Acquisition

BNSF Logistics has acquired 100% of the assets of Rite Choice Transport, an Oklahoma based 3PL. The company specializes in perishables and refrigerated transportation.

SPRINGDALE, AK (PRWEB) May 04, 2004 --- BNSF Logistics, LLC, today acquired Rite Choice Transport, a Roland, Oklahoma third-party logistics (3PL) company that specializes in serving the perishables and refrigerated market. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Rite Choice will be operated as a unit within BNSF Logistics Transportation Execution Services (TES) business, which serves customers from coast-to-coast.

Penny Wright, one of the former owners of Rite Choice, joins BNSF Logistics as Manager of Operations, reporting to Mica Jordon, Director of TES, South.
