Bethlehem Steel Photo Book Released

A new book of photography documenting the now defunct Bethlehem Steel plant has been released. The photography shows the lonely, desolate and collapsing foundry that was at the heart of the industrialization of America.

(PRWEB) May 4, 2004--Z Media Books is pleased to announce the release of a new photography book on Bethlehem Steel as it appears today. Once dominating a small Pennsylvania town with over 10,000 workers, Bethlehem Steel was at the core of the industrialization of America. Today the plant is abandoned and eerie.

Greg Passmore, best known for offbeat fashion photography, obtained rare permission to photograph the now dangerous and decaying facility. The result is a coffee table book with haunting and lonely images of an industrial age that ended in failure.

"Lost and Forgotten, A Visual Documentary of Bethlehem Steel" is now available, providing a window into the past and a possible apocalyptic vision of the future of our current technological revolution.
