The Share The Blessings Memorial Day Festival, hosted by KZPS 92.5 FM's Jon Dillon, will be held in Fort Worth featuring the following bands: Chuck Rainey (formerly of Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin and founding member of the Rascals), Maylee Thomas and headlined by Fort Worth native Tim Roberts Band. Tickets will be $35 (+ service charge) via Ticket Master.
More info: Share The Blessings is a non-profit foundation dedicated to helping individuals and families become involved in the needs of their community. We facilitate participation in established local charities through the collection of food, toys, and monetary donations. Begun as a community service project by a father and son in 1995, Share The Blessings has grown from the sincere desire to provide for countless needy children and families. Chuck Rainey At one time tagged as the hardest working bass player in America, Chuck Rainey's bass playing on successful television shows, motion pictures and recordings illustrate his well-known and legendary style, feel and concept for the instrument and it's role in organized music. His unique bass lines accent numerous commercials and are an integral part of today's music across many music viewing and listening fronts.

Mayee Thomas Maylee recorded her debut CD, Rhythm of the Blues, with sax legend Clarence Clemons of Bruce Springsteen's famed E Street Band. This album also features an array of other industry legends including bassist Chuck Rainey, drummer Jamie Oldaler, guitarist Dave Grissom and B-3 guru Mike Finnigan.
Maylee's new release PASSION is a collaborative effort with guitarist/songwriter Andy Timmons. Mutually inspired, these artists combined thier unique talent and tremendous energy to create an exciting compilation of soulful pop influenced rock. PASSION has drawn rave reviews and has just begun regional distribution.
Tim Roberts In the 13 months since departing Hard Rock Cafe's 2002 National Battle of the band winner, dirtyhelen, Tim Roberts has composed 18 new songs, gained national management, landed a music industry legend to produce his debut solo CD, and garnered the attention of several international record labels.
Taken under the wing of his manager, Bill Zahn, Tim has developed into a stunning solo artist. "Bill has a wealth of knowledge from over 20 years in the music industry. He helped me tap into the music like never before and encouraged me to continue to write from the heart." says Roberts. "I'm very proud of the work that I've done to date", says Tim, "But this new material is getting quite a response from the shows I've done. I'm really looking forward to releasing this new record. It's definitely my best work so far." The new CD project entitled "Truth" is being produced by legendary bass player, Chuck Rainey. Best known for his work with Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin and The Rascals, Mr. Rainey brings years of experience working with the best and biggest artists in the industry.
