Emma O'Rourke, graduated from St. Martin's art school with the likes of Stella and Hussein gets a studio at the Jackson School, paints portraits for the social set of Georgetown...

(PRWEB) May 10, 2004 -- Having had her first exhibit at age 3 at the Ben Uri gallery in London England, Emma starrted her carreer as Emma Goodman. With przes for art from all her schools, Emma went on to Graduate from prestigious London art school St. Martins.

In 2000 she moved to DC when her American boyfriend stole her away, and they soon married (taking his surname).

Painting portraits has always been a key element of O'Rourke's work. Impressionism meets expressionism with a modern twist, O'Rourke has been playing with fashion meets art and painting orchids roses and models.

She has recently done a series of dog portraits for clients, and also family portraits.

She is also currently working on a poster for a new film 'Love is a Survivor' where she is drawing portraits of Tony Curtis, Maya Morgenstein, and other actors.
