Breast Augmentation a Big Hit

Survey by Cosmetic-Plastic-Surgery.info reveals popular procedures

Prague, Czech Republic (PRWEB) October 15, 2008 -- While the seemingly endless search for eternal youth might lead one to think face lifts would be the most requested cosmetic surgery, think again. A recent survey of Czech plastic surgeons found that 83% of them say breast augmentation (http://www.cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info/procedures/breast-augmentation-mammaplasty) surgery is one of their three most performed procedures.

Cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info surveyed Czech plastic surgeons to learn more about cosmetic plastic surgery and health tourism in the Czech Republic between 2006 and 2007.

Demographics for this procedure tend to be on the younger side, and it seems to be a Europe-wide phenomena. The surgeons queried for the survey have both Czech and international clients. They report woman from the UK and Germany most often request breast enlargement.

But enlarging the breasts isn't all these women are looking for. Many prefer a breast lift or other augmentation to reform the shape and feel of their breasts. Breast reductions aren't as commonly requested. Following breast augmentation, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and liposuction are the other two most popular procedures.

The cosmetic surgery survey (http://www.cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info/czech-plastic-surgery-survay-2008) also covers other interesting points including the potential risks of cosmetic surgery abroad as well as offering an overview of the Czech aesthetic surgery field.

www.Cosmetic-plastic-surgery.info provides information about cosmetic plastic surgery abroad and presents it to the general public in Czech, English, German and Russian.
