Dayton Ohio Nature Photographer Has More Work Published

Award-winning nature photographer, Jim Crotty, has recently had several photographs published in a local literary journal as well as on the company website for Mamiya Cameras.

Kettering, OH (PRWEB) May 12, 2004 -- Jim Crotty, professional photographer and owner of Picturesque Ohio, recently had several of his nature photographs published in the Vincent Brothers Review, a literary journal published in Dayton, Ohio. Three of Crottys images were used to accompany stories for issue #23, Taking Flight.

Also, two other of Crottys photographs, which were still life taken in his studio at 15 West Dorothy Lane in Kettering, were recently published on the website for the Mamiya camera company, at http://www.mamiya.co.uk/newGallery/index.htm?. These photographs appear within the Nature and Landscapes section of the website.

The award-winning nature photographer also maintains a website at www.PicturesqueOhio.com, where he has added new online galleries for recent photographic work done at Lincoln Park in Kettering and at the National Battlefield in Gettysburg, PA. Next to autumn, spring is by busiest season," commented Crotty. This spring was no exception, in fact I probably now have more than I can work with due to just returning from a photography trip to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Tennessee. This is in addition to some great new images that I captured of the monuments and battlefield of Gettysburg and some wonderful spring color that I found just down the street from my studio."

Crotty will be displaying and selling signed prints of some of his best work, both recent spring images and past favorites, at the 37th Annual Art in the Park, scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th, at De Weese Park in Dayton. Framed prints of his photographs are also on display at Deck the Walls, a framer and gallery located at the corner of Far Hills Avenue and Stroop Road in Kettering.

Jim Crotty started Picturesque Ohio as a full time endeavor in April 2003. Since then he has expanded his business to an office and studio as well as expanded his technical capabilities to include large format digital printers, professional scanners and digital camera equipment. I now have the capability and skill needed to create, process and produce a fine art photographic print of my original work from concept through finished product, completely 'in-house." In addition to creating and selling original prints of nature and landscape subject matter, Crotty also provides Dayton-area organizations with location and product photography services. His expertise is in providing high quality photographic image for publishing on the internet, finished digital files for print reproduction or fine art prints for framing and display in an office or lobby.

A native of Dayton, Crotty grew-up in Kettering where he now resides with his wife and two daughters. Hes a graduate of Alter High School and the University of Dayton. He also earned a Master of Professional Communication from Westminster College of Salt Lake City.
