The best invention in the bar/restaurant industry is finally here.

After all this time, it's hard to believe this was just invented. Now all of your parties will be much better and will serve the perfect drink everytime...all night!

(PRWEB) May 13, 2004 -- Former bartender and male model, Kairi Jeffries, invented the Drain Scoop in Jersey City, NJ, three years ago to prevent watery drinks by placing four strategic slots in an average bar ice scoop. One patent release and seven investors later, Jeffries is prepared to take the catering, bar and restaurant industry by storm. We have a big catering season ahead of us. The holidays are here and we can barely catch our breath prior to the wedding season in the spring and summer, I LOVE IT!" Jeffries stumbled upon his cleaver endeavor while mixing drinks for an upscale New Jersey/New York caterer. Every party needs tons of ice. B the end of the night the ice has turned to water and servers are scooping it out with their hands, and customers are complaining that their drinks are watered down. Its a mess!" Jeffries used money from his modeling career and called upon family and friends to get patent and design work done.

After receiving clearings from the patent office Jeffries set out his campaign to sell the design to a manufacturer. The campaign was put to a halt when Jeffries found an investor with deep ties to the industry and money to invest. My latest investor was able to provide the fiscal investment needed to manufacture the product. Now Im distributing my product and other companies will have to come to me to even remotely use the design."

The former Pro-Am bowlers simple invention patented the basic design of an ice scoop with three vertical slits strategically positioned in the middle of the scoop and one horizontal slot in the rear of the scoop. Thereby providing water drainage and retain the ice. When asked about the concept for the design, slits versus simple holes, Jeffries replies: I looked at the hand movement of people while they are draining the ice against the side of the cooler. Slits are simple much more effective in draining the water more efficiently. That is why I had the slits positioned the way I did. Its a perfect scoop for the perfect drink every time." Revolutionizing culinary creations as we know it Jeffries states: I know its so simple. People always ask me- 'are you sure it hasnt been invented already? Well if it has someone had better tell the patent office."

Jeffries is now in the final stages of introducing his product to merchandisers, restaurants, bars and caterers. For more information on the patented Drain Scoop, visit www.drainscoop.com or call Kairi Jeffries at (201) 459-9840 or e-mail at kairi@drainscoop.com.
