Americans Against United Nations

The AAUN has officially launched its campaign for the repeal of the United Nations Participation Act. An online petition is available for concerned Americans to sign. The AAUN hopes to submit 60 million signatures to Congress in support of repealing this Act.

(PRWEB) May 14, 2004--The AAUN, Americans Against United Nations, is a non-profit organization representing Americans concerned about the dangers of US involvement with the United Nations.

The United Nations was founded by Communist and CFR Members whose common goal was a Socialist world government. The sixteen key U.S. officials, who originally shaped the policies leading to the creation of the U.N., were later exposed in sworn testimony as secret communist.

David Broom and Richard Rozell, Chairman of AAUN, believes the United Nations is a threat to the sovereignty of the United States. David Broom, quoting the Honorable Ron Paul of Texas, states, ...the threat arises from the United Nation's Charter which, from the beginning, was a threat to sovereignty protections in the U.S. Constitution. The American people have not, however, approved of the Charter of the United Nations which, by its nature, cannot be the supreme law of the land for it was never `made under the Authority of the U.S.,' as required by Article VI of the Constitution of the United States."

The American People have several concerns when it comes to the United Nations. The United Nations has made the United States Global Cops to the world, thus, making us targets for future terrorist attacks. The AAUN believes no International Body should be able to send our children to war and be the leader of our troops. It is clear that the United Nations has this power. When 15 Americans were killed over Iraq in mid 1994, former Vice President Al Gore extended condolences "to the families of those who died in the service of the United Nations."

Our resolve is clear, says Richard Rozell. The United States needs to withdraw from the United Nations. The American People have spent billions of dollars bombing and rebuilding other Countries in wars that dont concern us. It is time to focus on America. The billions we have spent overseas in peace keeping missions could have been used here to create new jobs, provide for our homeless and help the working man take more money home out of his paycheck. I believe it is clear what America needs to do."
