Innovative way to find a picnic spot is launched

The online picnic products retailer, PicnicShop.co.uk, has devised a very useful tool for visitors to its site. Called the ‘Picnic Locator,’ the new section of the website allows users of the site looking for a nice spot to enjoy a picnic to easily locate somewhere nearby to go.

The online picnic products retailer, PicnicShop.co.uk, has devised a very useful tool for visitors to its site. Called the ‘Picnic Locator,’ the new section of the website allows users of the site looking for a nice spot to enjoy a picnic to easily locate somewhere nearby to go.

The Picnic Locator is a large source of information, containing hundreds of links to parks, forests, castles, National Trust properties and view-points.

The Picnic Locator can be seen by visiting http://www.picnicshop.co.uk and clicking the link labelled ‘Picnic Locator’. The section is organised by county so it is simple to find a suitable location and linking through to more information on the picnic spot is simply a click away.

PicnicShop.co.uk’s Head of Marketing, Mark Anders, commented ‘Many of PicnicShop.co.uk’s customers have contacted us to recommend suitable picnic spots. We therefore decided to create a new section of the website which makes finding a picnic spot as easy as possible.’

Operations Manager, Michael Kossew, added, ‘the response has been fantastic and we will continue to add locations to the listings through the year.’

The website plans to extend the section with a Location Rating system, to be completed by the users of the website along with a ‘Recommend a Location’ element.
