Reality Shows Come to the Internet.

Launch of a reality based internet contest to see who will be the Internet Marketer of the Year (IMOTY). It is free to join and the winner will get over $2,000.00 in cash and prizes as well as the coveted IMOTY trophy.

Tacoma, WA (PRWEB) May 19, 2004 --- The MJV5000 group recently launched their Internet Marketer of the Year (IMOTY) website, which parodies the reality shows so popular on television.

The website, which is located at http://www.imoty.com , allows self proclaimed internet marketing gurus to sign up for a free chance to win cash and prizes totaling thousands of dollars. It is formatted after television reality shows in that each week someone will be terminated", for lack of effort, and relegated to the Losers Bracket where they will still get another chance to win. The promoters of the contest also plan to throw in a few twists and turns which are currently being kept secret.

Mick Mohr, CEO of the MJV5000 Group, explains the reasons for creating the site. I wanted all of the so-called internet marketing gurus to either put up or shut up. They constantly advertise how they can generate millions of dollars in revenues with their marketing secrets". Now is their chance to prove it. If they cant prove it, then they should withdraw their ads."

The contest is divided into two parts. The first part (round robin) will see marketers placed into groups of 10. They will compete only within that group, and the top 3 will advance to the finals. The top three in the Losers Bracket will also advance to the finals where all the remaining marketers will compete head on against each other. The winner will receive the coveted IMOTY trophy and a prize package valued at over $2,000.00.
