The Second Annual Harrington Family Foundation Benefit Concert Presented by KeyBank Kicks Off July 1, 2004 with Headliner Third Eye Blind Joey Harrington, NFL Detroit Lions quarterback, announces the Second Annual Harrington Family Foundation Benefit Concert featuring contemporary rockers Third Eye Blind. Portland, OR (PRWEB) May 19, 2004 Following last yearÂs highly successful inaugural charity event, Joey Harrington, NFL Detroit Lions quarterback, announces the Second Annual Harrington Family Foundation Benefit Concert featuring contemporary rockers Third Eye Blind on Thursday, July 1, 2004. This much anticipated event is set for the intimate outdoor locale of Pioneer Courthouse Square, in the heart of the cityÂs thriving downtown. Presented by KeyBank and produced by Portland-based TAOW Productions, the rain or shine event will benefit Shriners Hospital for Children, Portland and the Harrington Family Foundation. Third Eye BlindÂs multi-platinum smash hits ÂSemi-Charmed Life, ÂDeep Inside of You, and ÂHowÂs It Going To Be have garnered critical and commercial acclaim. Having toured with acts such as U2 and the Rolling Stones, Third Eye Blind has built a loyal fan base worldwide. As a special treat, accomplished pianist Joey Harrington will jam alongside the band during this unique benefit performance. ÂThis is a tremendous opportunity to play with some terrific artists, while also giving back to the community that has been so supportive of me and my family, says Harrington, former Oregon Duck quarterback. ÂThe success of last yearÂs event exceeded our projected revenue goals by raising over $30,000 for Shriners. For 2004, we have set our sights higher and we really need your support to help make this yearÂs event an even greater success! Presented by KeyBank and sponsored by KINK FM 102, Nike, U of O Alumni Association, the Detroit Lions and other sponsors to be named, 100% of all of the proceeds will go to benefit childrenÂs charities. Known as ÂPortlandÂs Living RoomÂ, Pioneer Courthouse Square is located at SW Broadway & Yamhill. Doors open at 6pm and the concert starts at 7pm. Due to limited seating and last yearÂs sell-out crowd, advance tickets are highly recommended. Tickets are $32.50 advance, $35 day of show and are on sale at Tickets West outlets, on the web at http://www.ticketswest.com, or by phone at 800-992-8499 or 800-325-7328.
