First time voters have a new way to get their information about the candidates currently running for president. Every major candidate has created content for Good Politics Radio, an online radio station with unedited political content. (PRWEB) May 20, 2004--First time voters and voters from all levels of experience now have an exciting resource to hear the all the major presidential candidates on Good Politics Radio (http://www.goodpoliticsradio.com). From President Bush, to Ralph Nader, to pretty much every democratic candidate, Good Politics Radio features unedited content provided by the candidates and their supporters for the purpose of allowing voters to hear their message exactly as they put it out.
In addition to presidential candidates, Good Politics Radio features educational content that teaches about the political and legislative processes and issues affecting every citizen on a national and local level. We welcome educational content and encourage students from Junior High through University level to come and listen.
Listening to Good Politics Radio is simple. Anyone who has an internet connection can go to the website, http://www.goodpoliticsradio.com, and pick a state from the list. At the state page, simply click on Listen Now" to bring up the radio listening interface and listen to the station. Features on the page include Broadcast Schedules, a free Membership to Good Politics Radio Listeners Report (which includes a newsletter that keeps you up to date on new content) and a link to register to vote online.
Other links include a Recommended Reading list and a list of sites that have earned the Good Politics Radio Internet Award for Political Excellence.
The radio format, nearly all of which is paid broadcasting by any person with a political message, must fall into a few important guidelines: No mudslinging, no hate messages, nothing illegal or that promotes terrorism in any way. Other than that, anyone with a political message can broadcast on Good Politics Radio and get their message out in its pure form.
Probably a couple of the strongest principles of Good Politics Radio is that other than the guidelines mentioned, we welcome every point of view. Any candidate from any party, any political message from any political camp can become a Good Politics Radio broadcaster. We dont pick and choose. Any person with a genuine interest in communicating a political point of view to voters is welcome with open arms as long as they comply with the basic principles Good Politics is founded on.
All broadcasters have a minimum of 30 minutes in which to speak their mind, up to 4 hours maximum, so that no one point of view can dominate the medium. Over time, Good Politics Radio will be split into individual state stations to be able to focus on regional issues. Currently all content is broadcast on the main station.
