Atlanta Skydiving Wedding

Couple Plans to take the plunge with a unique skydiving wedding in Atlanta, Georgia.

(PRWEB) May 21, 2004 -- Pre-wedding jitters are normal, but the couple scheduled to take the plunge this Saturday has more than their vows to be excited about. Instead of opting to walk down the aisle toward marriage, the couple will be taking the leap from 14,000 feet in the sky! This unique skydiving marriage ceremony will take place at Atlanta Skydiving Center this Saturday.

The staff at Atlanta Skydiving Center is almost as excited as the bride and groom, and has assisted the bride in the preparations needed to make this possible. Atlanta Skydiving Center has hosted other marriage ceremonies (both on the ground and in the skies), but this ceremony poses unique planning challenges since the parties involved are all amateurs.

A spokesperson for the skydiving center stated, "This is very exciting for us. We have had several wedding proposals here, and some of our experienced skydivers have been married here, but this is particularly fun because the bride and groom are not professionals. Safety is our number one priority, so we are working with the bride to help plan something that will be extremely exciting for everyone involved, but will also maintain the highest degree of safety."

Atlanta Skydiving Center is also hosting a skydiving state record this weekend, so the couple should have plenty of exciting footage for the wedding photographs and video.
