QVS Software, Inc. Announces Definitive Agreement to License Intellectual Property in IBMs Distributed Data Services Products

QVS Software, Inc. today announced a definitive agreement for QVS to license certain intellectual property associated with IBM's Distributed Data Services (DDS), Data Distribution Feature (DDF), Controller Services Feature (CSF), Multiple Controller Feature (MCF), and Auto Switchover Feature (ASF) products. These products support 4690 controller applications on Microsoft Windows® without requiring code changes or recompilation.

Anaheim, CA, (PRWEB) May 24, 2004 -- QVS Software, Inc. today announced a definitive agreement for QVS to license certain intellectual property associated with IBM's Distributed Data Services (DDS), Data Distribution Feature (DDF), Controller Services Feature (CSF), Multiple Controller Feature (MCF), and Auto Switchover Feature (ASF) products. These products support 4690 controller applications on Microsoft Windows® without requiring code changes or recompilation.

"This transaction will permit QVS to provide ongoing support for existing customers and to create a new product offering for those retailers wishing to migrate to Windows-based store controllers. QVS will be demonstrating the QVS Controller Services Version 3 product at the IBM Store Systems Users Conference in Anaheim, CA on May 23 through May 26.
