Bettcher Industries Appoints Paul Cantrell National Accounts Manager For Food Service Group

Bettcher Industries, Inc. announces the appointment of Paul Cantrell as national accounts manager for the company's Food Service Group.

Birmingham, Oh., September 3, 2008 -- Bettcher Industries (http://www.bettcher.com/) announces the appointment of Paul Cantrell as national accounts manager for the company's Food Service Group. In this position, Cantrell will be responsible for the sale of equipment and products that are sold to North American chain restaurant organizations - in particular YUM! Brands, Inc., the parent company of KFC.

Cantrell has a 25-year background in the food processing and foodservice industries. Prior to joining Bettcher Industries, he was the YUM! Brands Account Executive for Winston Industries, a manufacturer of fryers, steamers and cook-and-hold cabinets, where he was responsible for developing and managing relationships with the regional franchise community. Prior to that, Cantrell worked for YUM! Brands in several roles as a product development technologist and new product development manager, where he spearheaded R&D efforts on KFC menu items.

Cantrell has also served in a variety of QA/QC positions at White Castle, Riviana Foods and Nestlé Foods. He holds a B.S. degree in Food Technology & Science from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
