Irvine, CA (PRWEB) May 26, 2004 --- Advanced Technology and Systems Co., Ltd. (ADTX), a leading provider of reliable and affordable high performance computer storage, teams up with StoreAge Networking Technologies, an innovator in enterprise SAN storage management and data protection solutions, to display a recently introduced fibre channel to SATA solution. This RAID system combines a 2 Gb Fibre Channel interface with the breakthrough technology of Serial ATA (SATA) and state-of-the-art ADTX-specific features to create a cost effective solution for Storage Area Networks (SAN).

ADTX L Series RAID systems are produced in both a Standard Performance and a High Performance version. Standard Performance has throughput speeds of a typical SATA based RAID systems while still retaining all L Series features.

The High Performance model uses high speed RAM and a specially designed parity generating co-processor that provides throughput speeds that are much higher. The throughput is high enough in some applications to replace SCSI or Fibre Channel drive based RAID systems.

"Our L Series RAID array is one of the best values on the market," said Naresh Chadha, ADTX President of U.S. and European Operations, The L Series is designed to be a cost effective solution for Storage Area Network applications that require additional storage for an existing SAN, disk to disk / virtual tape back up for other RAID systems or for a companys first centralized storage installation."

L Series RAID systems have current storage capacities up to 3.75 terabytes, are available in dual active/active or single controller configurations with two active ports per controller and are priced competitively. All models are now shipping. Further information can be found on the ADTX web site at http://www.adtx.com/us and by calling (949) 583-2993.

StoreAge Networking Technologies will be exhibiting the ADTX L Series RAID during caworldsm 2004 at both #1031/1033 in Las Vegas, Nevada May 23-27
