Janet Wolfe, President of Wolfe Laboratories, Named Boston's Entrepreneur of the Year

Janet Wolfe, Ph.D., President of Wolfe Laboratories, Inc. (WLI), was named Boston’s Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. The award recognizes the achievements of small business owners and their contributions to the Greater Boston community. “Janet Wolfe is a savvy businesswoman whose company demonstrated exceptional financial growth, management innovation, workplace excellence, risk-taking, and social responsibility. WATERTOWN, Mass. (Business Wire EON) September 4, 2008 -- Formed in 1999 by Wolfe, WLI is a contract research and development company serving the biopharmaceutical industry. During its early years, Janet and a few interns operated out of a 2,000 square foot facility in Newton, Massachusetts. Presently, the company boasts multimillion dollar revenue and a staff of 30 employees at its new 21,000 square foot headquarters in Watertown, Massachusetts.
