Graham Richardson, of UK based Metzmedia, and Stephen Esbin, of US based MGSE, were featured speakers at the British American Business Council's Transatlantic Business Conference. Their presentation "The Right Approach for Your Product" was given for the "E-Commerce Solutions" session at the conference.

BIRMINGHAM (PRWEB) May 27, 2004 -- Graham Richardson, Executive Director of UK based Metzmedia, and Stephen Esbin, founding Partner of US based MGSE, were featured speakers on "E-Commerce Solutions" at the British American Business Council's (BABC) Transatlantic Business Conference held in Birmingham April 23-26. The BABC has over 4000 member companies in the UK and US and is the largest transatlantic trade and investment organization. BABC acts as a conduit for companies to enter and expand into each other's markets.

Mr. Richardson, whose company specializes in providing online solutions for businesses, discussed the operational significance of Processing and Integration in his presentation "The Right Approach for Your Product." Richardson focused on the tactical needs for both a standalone and integrated strategy and the importance of implementation for e-commerce activities. The presentation was designed to provide insight and solutions to the marketing and sales concerns of conference attendees which included member companies, business leaders, BABC representatives and government officials.

Mr. Esbin's company specializes in developing marketplace evaluations and facilitates US market entry for UK firms. He discussed how Metzmedia and MGSE collaborated to develop a US marketing plan and web site for a UK based building products firm that wanted to integrate its web site capabilities for transatlantic business activities. Esbin emphasized the importance of the web site's, "design and functional ability to dramatically feature product so as to generate inquiries from the construction and interior design industries." He added that, "the marketing objective succeeded in driving the target audience to the web site for detailed product information and resulted in 500+ qualified sales leads."

Richardson used the Metzmedia Solution Matrix to graphically show how organizations can efficiently integrate web site activities with their business model to meet operational performance objectives. According to Richardson, " The biggest challenge for organisations is in selecting the right application and educating the users. An effective implementation programme creates value to a company's web site because it increases the ability to serve your clients and your organisation's sales activities."

Melanie Kaczorek, Executive Director of BABC in the Midlands, commented that Metzmedia and MGSE's perspective on E-commerce solutions, "provided a valuable insight to conference attendees who are looking to improve the overall effectiveness of their web sites as an integral part of their business model."

Metzmedia, based in Maidenhead, provides online product and service solutions for businesses seeking to maximize their marketing, sales and operational performance. The company's success in understanding the challenges of new media enables it to empower organizations in the use of the Internet.
