Publisher Will Donate $1 Per Book to Help Kids Get Books Book publisher Marion Street Press, Inc. will donate $1 to First Book for every book it sells during the month of July. First Book is a non-profit organization that donates new books to underprivileged children. Oak Park, IL (PRWEB) June 14, 2004 -- Kids love books, but not every family can afford them. Marion Street Press, Inc. wants to help. The small publisher is donating a cut of its sales to First Book, a national nonprofit organization that provides new books to children from low-income families.
Marion Street Press, which specializes in books that help writers and journalists do their jobs better, will donate $1 to First Book for every book sold during the month of July 2004. Books sold through consumer bookstores, web stores such as Amazon.com, and through the companys website, www.marionstreetpress.com, will count.
